Appointment Kinds
Appointment kinds define the categories of bookings in your studio — like “Tattoo Session”, “Consultation”, “Piercing”, or “Touch-up”. Each kind controls what features are available and how appointments appear on the calendar.
Managing appointment kinds
Section titled “Managing appointment kinds”Go to Company Settings → Appointment Kinds to view, create, edit, and manage your kinds.
Kind properties
Section titled “Kind properties”Each appointment kind has:
Basic settings
Section titled “Basic settings”- Name — The display name shown on the calendar and in badges
- Internal name — An optional name only visible to staff (not shown to customers)
- Color — A background and foreground color pair used for calendar tiles and badges
- Default — Whether this kind is pre-selected when creating new appointments
Feature toggles
Section titled “Feature toggles”Each kind can enable or disable specific features. When a feature is disabled, its corresponding section is hidden from the create/edit appointment page:

Linked services
Section titled “Linked services”Each kind can be associated with specific services from your catalog.
Calendar appearance
Section titled “Calendar appearance”The kind’s color determines how appointments appear on the calendar:
- Background color — The tile’s fill color
- Border color — A blended accent border
- Text — Displayed in italic with the foreground color
Clone, delete, restore
Section titled “Clone, delete, restore”From the kind’s options menu, you can:
- Clone — Create a copy of this kind with all settings
- Delete — Soft-delete the kind
- Restore — Restore a deleted kind
