Attachments
Appointments support file attachments — commonly used for reference photos, progress documentation, and design files.
Viewing attachments
Section titled “Viewing attachments”The Attachments section on the appointment detail page shows thumbnails of all uploaded files. Tap any image to open a full-screen gallery with hero animations.
This section only appears if the appointment’s kind has the “Attachments” feature enabled.
Uploading
Section titled “Uploading”Tap the + button in the attachments section to upload new files. Both photos and other file types are supported.
Images are stored with both a full-resolution URL and a thumbnail URL for efficient display.
Multi-select mode
Section titled “Multi-select mode”Tap and hold on any attachment to enter selection mode:
- Select multiple items by tapping
- Available actions:
- Delete selected — Remove selected attachments
- Save to device — Download all selected files to your device’s downloads folder
File saving works on both Android and iOS with platform-specific paths.
Offline caching
Section titled “Offline caching”Attachment data is cached locally in Hive, allowing you to view previously loaded attachments while offline.
History tracking
Section titled “History tracking”Attachment events are recorded in the appointment’s history:
- Attachment added
- Attachment removed
- Attachment restored
