Swapping Appointments

The swap feature lets you exchange the time slots of two appointments — useful when you need to rearrange your schedule without going through individual reschedules.

Starting a swap

1. Open the appointment you want to swap
2. Tap the options menu (three dots)
3. Select Swap
4. If the appointment is part of a series, a scope dialog asks: “This only”, “This and following”, or “All”

Swap page

The swap page shows a full-screen calendar:

1. The source appointment is highlighted
2. Tap any other appointment on the calendar to select it as the swap target
3. The bottom sheet shows both appointments side by side
4. Optionally enter a reason for the swap
5. Confirm to execute

What happens

Both appointments exchange their time slots:

• Appointment A moves to Appointment B’s time
• Appointment B moves to Appointment A’s time

Both appointments are updated in the cache and calendar view immediately. The swap is recorded in both appointments’ history.

Restrictions

• Only available for open appointments
• You cannot swap an appointment with itself
