Contact Types
Every contact in inkStar has a type that defines their relationship with your studio.
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer | Active clients who book appointments and receive services |
| Vendor | Suppliers or business contacts (e.g., ink suppliers, equipment vendors) |
| Lead | Potential customers who haven’t booked yet |
Setting the type
Section titled “Setting the type”The contact type is set when creating a customer and can be changed on the edit page. It defaults to Customer.
Filtering by type
Section titled “Filtering by type”The contacts filter sheet lets you filter the customer list by type — showing only customers, only vendors, or only leads.
