Customer Management Overview
Customer management in inkStar goes far beyond a simple contact list. Every customer has a rich profile with communication preferences, consent tracking, strike management, and full appointment/payment history.
Customer profile sections
Section titled “Customer profile sections”Each customer profile contains:
- Basic info — Name, date of birth, contact type
- Contact details — Phone numbers and email addresses (multiple supported)
- Address — Full postal address
- Tags — Custom color-coded labels for organization
- Notes — Free-text notes with title and body
- Attachments — Photos and files
- Consent — Five types of consent tracking
- Strikes — Customer reliability tracking
- Stats — Appointment count, contract count, revenue, expected revenue
- History — Full activity feed with audit trail
- Comments — Internal staff comments

Offline support
Section titled “Offline support”Customer data is fully offline-capable. Creating, updating, deleting, and searching customers all work without internet, with changes queued for sync when connectivity returns.
