Manager Hierarchy

inkStar supports a one-level manager hierarchy — each employee can have one optional manager (who is another employee).

Assigning a manager

On the employee edit page, the Manager field lets you select another employee as this person’s manager. The current employee is excluded from the picker to prevent self-assignment.

Display

The manager is shown on the employee detail page with their name and avatar. Tapping navigates to the manager’s employee page.
