Deposits & Downpayments

Deposits (downpayments) let you require an upfront payment before an appointment. See Downpayments for the complete guide on setting up and managing deposits on appointments.

  • Downpayment amount — The required deposit, set on the appointment
  • Due date — When the deposit must be paid
  • Downpayment settled — A flag toggled when the deposit is confirmed paid
  • Auto-settlement — When recording a payment that covers the deposit amount, the flag is automatically toggled

You can configure a default downpayment payment method that’s pre-selected when recording deposit payments.
