Payments & Invoicing Overview

inkStar’s payment system handles every aspect of studio finances — from recording cash payments to sending online payment links through Mollie.

Each payment record contains:

  • Amount — The payment amount
  • Tip — Optional tip amount
  • Currency — Based on your company settings
  • Payment method — Which method was used
  • Customer (payee) — Who made the payment
  • Appointment — Linked appointment (if applicable)
  • Contract — Linked contract (if applicable)
  • Status — Pending, Authorized, Paid, Booked, Declined, Cancelled, or Expired
  • Date — When the payment was made
  • Description — Optional notes
