Tips can be recorded as part of any payment entry.

Recording a tip

In the payment sheet, the Tip field is hidden by default to keep the interface clean. Tap to expand it, then enter the tip amount.

Cash mode

When using the cash payment method, the tip is factored into the change calculation:

Change to give = Cash received − Remaining amount − Tip

Storage

Tips are stored as a separate field on the payment record, keeping them distinct from the payment amount for accurate reporting.
